Activities

Professional Experience

I serve on the board of a sports business enterprise in Rochester, NY area. Before I started my Ph. D studies, I was a manager in various departments of SK Networks, a worldwide trading & investment business enterprise representing South Korea. I was involved in international financing, project financing, and overseas operations. I also worked in the Office of the Chairman for Management and Planning of the SK Group. SK Group has more than 70,000 employees who work from 100s of offices worldwide primarily involved in the chemical, petroleum and energy industries. Before that I worked for Samsung Corporation in Korea until I started my MBA at the George Washington University. I moved back and forth between the US and Korea, and traveled countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe for business while I was at SK.
